ELC Aluminium Expands to 5 Continents, Aiming to Increase Export Share in Revenue
ELC Aluminium, which integrates 50 years of industrial experience with the aluminium sector, has differentiated itself in the industry with its activities since 2016 and continues to increase its market share. The company aims to make its growth sustainable through its investments.
ELC Aluminium, which meets the profile needs of over twenty sectors, focused on export growth in 2022 with steps to enhance customer satisfaction through R&D, product development, and improvement. The company, which derived 35% of its revenue from exports in 2021, targets to increase the share of exports in its revenue in 2022.
Operating as an aluminium extrusion facility, ELC Aluminium was established in Kayseri OSB in 2016. It operates on a total area of 25,000 square meters, with 17,500 square meters covered. The company has an annual production capacity of 16,000 tons of aluminium profiles with its three presses. It also operates an Anodizing Facility with a capacity of 7,200 tons annually, an Electrostatic Powder Coating Facility with a capacity of 3,600 tons annually, and Polishing and Satin Finishing units, serving over 330 companies. In addition to standard and custom design profiles, finished and semi-finished products are prepared in the mechanical processing facility with specific tolerances. The mechanical processing facility also offers cutting, deburring, end finishing, 4-axis CNC operations up to 7 meters in length, pressing, drilling, and bending services to provide cost advantages by shortening the supply chain.
ELC Aluminium Board Member Harun Elcuman stated, “With our state-of-the-art machinery, we cater to the profile needs of over 20 sectors including construction, automotive, white goods, solar construction, industrial profiles, and defense industry. We take pride in being listed as an approved supplier for the defense industry. We have hundreds of customers across five continents. We contribute to their projects by designing and developing the industrial designs they need. We are involved in consulting, project, and supply phases for many companies both domestically and internationally.” Elcuman added that ELC Aluminium closed 2021 with a 100% increase in revenue compared to the previous year and aims to increase the share of exports in its revenue in 2022. He also shared that the company is working on R&D projects for extruding special alloys beyond standard alloys used in the market, speeding up production processes, and developing products for architectural systems to European standards. “In 2021, 35% of our revenue came from export income. We aim to increase the share of exports in our revenue by the end of this year. We believe that our R&D efforts, developed products, and ongoing activities will significantly boost our exports,” Elcuman said.
Expanding Customer Portfolio through Trade Fairs.
Elcuman emphasized the importance of participating in trade fairs for achieving sustainable growth both domestically and internationally. “We have increased our participation in national and international trade fairs. We will also increase the number of companies we work with in the sectors we serve. In February, we participated in the IBS Orlando fair, focusing more on the construction sector and raising our targets in that area. We will increase our number of customers in the North American market. We have reserved our spot at the IBS Las Vegas 2023 Building Materials Fair and will also participate in the Aluminium 2022 fair in Germany in September. Additionally, we have opened our showroom and sales office in Azerbaijan. With our architectural systems consultant and architects in our team, we will offer innovative and practical solutions to meet user needs. We will continue our investments in 2023. Our steady growth will continue,” he said.
Elcuman also shared information about their upcoming Roof Solar Power System investment, set to launch in July: “Since our establishment, we have prioritized environmental sustainability. In line with our goal to minimize carbon emissions, we have decided to install a solar power system on our roof. We have allocated approximately 46 million TL for the facility, which will produce 2.4 MW of power. We will achieve our green energy goal in July. Additionally, we will continue investing in machinery for our production.”
